Privacy & measurement

Early access

We store your normalized email, optional research-interest message, submission time, explicit consent wording/version and consent time. We use these to understand interest and send EDGE early-access/product-access messages with your consent. No account is created and no unrelated marketing subscription is added. A repeated submission does not reveal whether an address is already listed or replace its original consent.

Ask us to remove your entry or correct it by email. We review the list after 90 days and retain entries no longer than 12 months without renewed consent. We do not sell the list.

Anonymous feedback

We store your yes/mostly/no answer, optional text, the synthetic scenario and submission time. No email is requested or attached. Please do not include personal, account or financial details. Raw feedback is retained for up to 90 days for product improvement; non-identifying themes may be retained.

Aggregate product measurement

We count page views, Mythbuster starts, scenario selections, results reached, Evidence opens and early-access form starts by UTC day, fixed scenario and a broad source category such as YouTube or community. Successful new waitlist entries and feedback counts come from server receipts.

No analytics cookies, persistent browser identifiers, fingerprinting, session replay, full referrer URLs or keystrokes. These are event counts, not unique people or individual tracked journeys. Reloads and bots can affect counts. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for optional product events.

Abuse protection and service providers

The server transiently uses the hosting platform’s source IP to derive a keyed daily abuse-control hash. We do not retain the raw IP in our application tables or use the hash for marketing/analytics. Expired rate-control rows are removed on subsequent submissions, with operator cleanup if traffic stops.

Vercel serves this preview; Supabase/PostgreSQL stores the private list, feedback and aggregate counts. Their infrastructure may process network/security logs, including IP addresses, under their own retention controls. We do not place form bodies or emails in application logs. Access to stored submissions is limited to the owner/operator, not anonymous visitors.

Our purposes are operating the requested early-access list, protecting the service and understanding the product. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or raise a concern. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.

What is outside this preview

Only synthetic teaching fixtures are available. No market data, real research, broker connection, file uploads, payments or trading execution. Real controlled research is not publicly available.
